The pose strengthens spinal cord and hence the name. 'Virya' also means 'semen'. Practicing Virya Stambhan Pose improves semen production.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Virya Stambhan Pose stimulates svadhittana chakra, which governs creativity and happy state of mind. This chakra is also associated with sexuality.
