Strain the water.<\/li><li>Dry fry cleansed and filtered foxtail millet in a tawa till they are hot to touch.<\/li><li>Once the millet is cooled, grind it in a mixie in rava consistency.<\/li><li>Chop onion and ginger and thinly slice green chillies.<\/li><li>Add ground foxtail millet, chopped onions, ginger, green chillies, crushed pepper, cumin seeds and curry leaves along with required salt and mix well. The batter should be watery.<\/li><li>Place tawa on heat.<\/li><li>Add oil to hot tawa and pour the batter on the corners of tawa in a circular motion. Since the batter is watery, it will spread to the center. Just fill the gaps with some batter if necessary.
