Prana Mudra is one of the most important mudras. Practicing Prana Mudra helps to regulate flow of prana, the life force, which is indispensable for body mind health.

Symptoms of Low Levels of Prana

How to Perform Prana Mudra?

Prana Mudra can be performed for 45 minutes a day. This can be performed for 15 minutes in a session for three sessions.

  • Keep your back and neck straight. Assume Lotus Pose or Thunderbolt Pose. You can also assume Easy Pose.
  • Stretch your fingers.
  • Bring the tips of your ring finger, little finger and thumb.
  • Keep the remaining fingers stretched.
  • Close your eyes and focus on the Mudra.
  • Maintain normal breathing.

Note

Though the image shows the mudra being performed in one hand, you should perform the mudra in both hands.
