Note of Thanks:

We would like to thank all those who had participated in yesterday's poll. Going by the responses we have received so far, we understand that,

Majority of the participants prefer that we upload easy yoga poses. This is absolutely fine by us as the very thought behind the launch of yogaaatral.com was to draw everyone to yoga mat regardless of the level of physical limitations one may possess. However, some prefer tough yoga poses. We would like to honor their opinion and hence, we will upload some tough poses periodically.

Majority of the participants have declared that they enjoy Rest Pose to the fullest, being very much awake and into the pose. Some have mentioned that they feel sleepy during Rest Pose. This is quite natural. Those who sleep less generally tend to go on sleep while in Rest Pose. The importance of quality sleep can never be over stressed. Balanced diet, good sleep and exercise are the three most important factors to lead a healthy life. Hence, sleep well when you must. For some, the very act of lying down will be enough to go into sleep. Hence, it is natural for them to instantly fall asleep in Rest Pose. If you are one among them, keep working at focusing your mind on your organs as mentioned in Rest Pose. Eventually, you will come to enjoy the immeasurable benefits that staying awake in Rest Pose can offer.

The question about herbs has received an unanimous response..and it is a big YES. This again makes us super happy. Maintaining a healthy state of body and mind depends on how good your food is, how well you sleep and how regularly you exercise. Here, herbs have a natural role, which is why we started uploading posts on herbs. Loads of thanks for your unanimous support.

Those who have not participated in poll still can share their opinion before tomorrow evening.

Thank you.

  • Similar to Keezhadi excavations which bring to light the rich past of the Thamizh civilization, Thirumoolar's Thirumanthiram draws our attention to the unbelievably rich knowledge possessed by ancient Thamizh civilization in the field of medicine. It will be only right to say that Thirumoolar would have been the world's first anatomical scientist.
